Payless Airport Shuttle (“we,” “us”) provides shuttle and ground transportation in the Los Angeles area, including LAX, Burbank, Long Beach, Disneyland, and the cruise ports. This policy explains what personal information we collect through paylessairportshuttle.com, our booking and quote forms, text messages, and our rides, and how we use it.
By booking a ride, requesting a quote, or using our website, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to book and complete your ride.
- Contact details: your name, mobile phone number, and email address.
- Trip details: pickup and drop-off addresses, dates and times, flight or cruise information, number of passengers, luggage, and special requests.
- Payment details: when you pay the online booking fee, your card is processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our website.
- Messages: emails and text messages you send us, and replies to our texts.
- Website data: basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected through cookies and standard server logs.
Bookings must be made by an adult. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
How we use your information
We use your information to schedule and complete your ride, send booking confirmations and receipts, answer quote requests, contact you about changes or delays, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and agree on our booking or quote form, Payless Airport Shuttle will send you text messages about your ride. These include booking confirmations, pickup reminders, driver arrival notices, and a link to track your driver. We do not send marketing texts.
- Message frequency varies by booking, usually 2 to 5 messages per ride.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile numbers only with the text messaging provider that delivers our messages for us.
Driver location tracking
During a ride, our driver’s phone shares the vehicle’s location so you can follow your driver on a map. The tracking link shows the driver’s location only, not yours. Location sharing stops when the ride ends, and trip location data is deleted within two days.
Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to provide your ride:
- Our drivers, who receive your name, phone number, and trip details for your ride.
- Service providers that run our business tools, such as our payment processor, email and calendar provider, text messaging provider, and website host. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the safety of our passengers, drivers, or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as needed for our business, tax, and legal records. Driver location data is deleted within two days after a ride.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure connections on our website. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and California rights
You can ask us to review, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us below. To stop text messages, reply STOP. To stop emails, reply to any of our emails and ask to be removed. We will still send messages needed for a ride you have booked.
California residents may request information about the personal information we collect and how we use it. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our website does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
